“Engage”
This project was created in my junior year of college in my 3d animation class. For this project, we were given a word and had free reign over how we wanted to depict it. I was given engage, which means occupy, attract, or involve (someone's interest or attention).
Made using Cinema 4d, and Adobe After Effects.
My mom is a retired police officer and this scene was inspired by her and I just overall had a really good time with this one. Keeping to simple shapes to have it more stylized and push the engagement.
Above is an animatic showing a part of the process towards the beginning of the project. We test composition, animation movement, and the most important part is it conveying engage.
